The scope behind UpWord Ministries

Peace The vision behind UpWord Ministries has always been to minister to the online community and to help other believers in Christ in their online work. Since our work has expanded outside the scope of a single web site we have moved many of our resources to several of our other domains. We are fortunate to also operate on our own servers out of a world class data center where we can better serve our visitors.

The early church was never involved in any "intense fund raising effort" or considered themself an "enterprise" as the ecumenical leaders of our day do. Neither was the early church incorporated or even had a central office. Building up of the body was accomplished by God and not by the spiritual leaders of the day. We put our trust in God for what is accomplished since it is his work and not ours. We are simply instruments in his hands. Any time we try to do God's job, we step in his way and hinder what he is doing in the body of Christ. The church leaders that prefer to build up an earthly name and threaten legal action against those in the body do not have the love of God. Neither are they walking in righteousness because they can't suffer wrong but in pride do they lift themselves up and work to protect an earthly name rather than the everlasting name of Yeshua. They are blind guides!

COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE
A great and treacherous apostasy has taken place in the churches of America to which most Christians are totally oblivious. Incorporated "churches" are not and cannot be true New Testament churches, in that:

  1. She has not been faithful and has betrayed her espoused head, Yeshua.
  2. Corporations are created by the state, not by Yeshua;
  3. The Bible cannot be the sole authority for faith and practice in their organization, since their supreme written authority by law is their corporate charter and statute law, not the Bible;
  4. Their head and master by law is the state, not Yeshua;
  5. Their pastors do not have Biblical authority (per Heb. 13:7, 17; etc.) over their flocks but are mere hirelings (John 10:12) under authority of the corporate trustees.
  6. Tax Exemption for "not-for-profit" organizations (for corporations, trusts and unincorporated associations) under Internal Revenue Code sec. 501(c)3 is a trap used by the US government to control the churches and silence the preachers of America from influencing our government and society, and from crying out against wicked government policies, politics and politicians. For the churches to enter into such a treacherous contract with the state constitutes a grievous, abominable SIN. In fact, for all practical purposes it is a sin very similar to taking the "mark of the beast" (Rev. 13) upon the Church, in betraying the Lordship of Christ by bowing to the supremacy of the state.


Our Ministry takes shape by not only meeting needs, but also serving in the church in a technical capacity. We are IT professionals and serve fellow believers by providing web site hosting to individuals, ministries and Christian business. We are some times assisted by by other developers who provide free site templates and other services that will aid us in our online work.

Our Focus

The early church was marked by; the manifestation of a united ministry by which edification and the meeting of needs were accomplished through the gifts of ALL the brethren. After the apostolic era the church moved more and more toward a fixed representation of church offices which separates ministry from the "congregation" and limited significant ministry to the "clergy." We are working to make more saints aware of how the early church operated and to expose the false teachings that many churches in our day which hold to that detract from what God established in the early church. We encourage you to study and learn with us so that you can be fulfilled in the work of God in our day.

Many churches in our day are not adhering to the word of God as the early church did and we are seeing a falling away in our day. They put on the form of Godliness, even call themselves teachers and leaders but they are organized in incorporated churches which are lead and directed by the government rather than the Holy Spirit. Those who are truly following Christ will understand this difference.
